What does Thankgiving for a Medical student in the Caribbean look like? Well, lectures and studying all day. We couldn't stand for our American Thanksgiving Day to pass without some serious eatin' so I surprised him with our own mini-Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey Roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and Pumpkin Pie. It all turned out amazingly delicious and Rob, being a huge fan of Thanksgiving, was grateful for the feast of food.
The next weekend, when all the guys could relax a little more, we had a traditional, 30-people strong, Thanksgiving dinner at Lyndzee and Dustin's house.
Stephanie was brave enough to make the turkey and she did a sensational job!
And Jerod did a great job carving up the bird.
Elder and Sister Bush are the missionary couple here in Grenada. We were do happy to have them with us to celebrate.

I found myself very grateful this Thanksgiving for everything that we have in our lives. This past year we have encountered many difficult things, but because we have such a loving, supportive family and friends we have been able to come out stronger than before. We are grateful for all the many blessings our Heavenly Father has given us.
