We had a terrific time at our ward camp out. It was very cold, but since we were one of the first families to arrive, we were able to snag one of the rooms attached to the kitchen, which was insulated. Luke loved running around the trees and throwing things into the fire. Since we had a room right by all the action, we put Luke to sleep at a reasonable time and still stayed out to enjoy the program, Minute to Win It game, hot chocolate by the fire and playing Scum until 1 am.

The next day Luke and I enjoyed the great outdoors while Rob helped out in the kitchen. Who knew the Elders Quorum could make such a tasty breakfast.
The service project was sanding and oiling blocks for the Child Crisis Center. It was a great project because even the smallest children could help and I got to use the mighty power sander.

And even though there was a lot of this...

we still had so much fun enjoying the outdoors, friends, food and fun.
