Most responsible people would spent their last day in Grenada packing and tying up loose ends. Not us. We spent it hiking Concord Falls, which is my favorite hike in Grenada with a big group of friends. This hike is special because the whole way up the rainforest hike the guides teach about the plants and fruits. They use their machetes to cut down sugarcane, bananas, carrots, and of course cocoa pods (my favorite) to snack on and sample. At the end of the hike is a beautiful waterfall, perfect for swimming under. At the bottom of the hike, near the parking lot, is another waterfall. This one falls into a deep pool and has great cliffs for jumping off. I conquered on of my fears at the Concord falls by jumping from the highest ledge. I didn't have enough guts to do it until I saw Jillian brave it and so I went for it. Such a thrill and so glad I did before I left.
