Kayaking at La Sagesse

Another fun adventure was ocean kayaking at La Sagesse (I promise, I have kids, but once a week they both go to a play group and we all try to take advantage of the things we cannot do with kids). I love this beach. It is straight from a postcard and has a different feel than the beaches close to our house. It's silky sand and warm water sit inside this peaceful cove. We decided to brave the waves and after flipping our kayak, were able to paddle all the way out of the cove. Coming back to the island looked like a scene from Lost or Jurassic Park. Our adrenaline was pumping after we braved the open water and on the way back the girls in my kayak (myself included) started to get a little crazy. We purposefully flipped our kayak and stood up and had an absolute blast. Of course it was all fun and games right up until we all tried to stand at the same time for a picture and a wave hit us and poor Lyndzee got the brunt of it with a sprained ankle. Quoting her though she says the hurt ankle was worth all the fun. She is such a good sport!
This is right before the wave hit us, pushing us all backwards and Blaire right onto Lyndzee's ankle, pinning it to the kayak.
