I forgot how fun the age of one is. Harper is bursting at the seems with personality and independence and I just cannot get enough of her. She is the friendliest baby and will let anyone hold her, which for anyone who has known her for the first 12 months of her life might not even believe. She is silly and snugly and loves a good laugh. She has taken her first steps and spends most of her time home running around pushing her princess car from room to room. Whenever her daddy leaves she always sends him off with waves and a sweet "Bye, Dad" and upon return she crawls up his leg and gives him snuggles. She is always up for a game of peek-a-boo and rarely turns down a chance to sing and clap. She is such a light sleeper and when we sneak into her room to put Luke to bed she always jumps up and peeks over the top of her crib with the biggest, goofiest smile and we can't resist running and scooping her up for one last cuddle before we tell them both good night.
Sweet Harper, please stay little for as long as you can!

You probably didn't even have to tell her "now pose like the cutest one yr. old in the world!"
