Update on Luke:Hives - "No Big Deal" according to the doctor. They went away on their own.
Weight - Our big guy is back on the charts for weight and spiking in the 75th percentile for height. So, after advice from our pediatrician, we said "See Ya" to the pediatric endocrinologist and all those scary tests.
Big scare - I was in a Sunday meeting when I got a emergency call from Rob because Luke was not breathing properly. We rushed him to a pediatric Urgent Care just in time. He was gasping for breaths and completely lethargic. They took him right back and got to work. After two breathing treatments, a dose of steroids, and three prescriptions (including a breathing machine), they released us. We are set to see his pediatrician later today to get a diagnosis.
*Diagnosis: Upper-respiratory Infection, possibly RSV (they don't test to see what type of infection it is because they treat them all with the same medication anyways). Either way, he has shown great improvement, so it has seemed to go away as fast and it came.
Luke has put us through some of the most random sicknesses. The funny thing about him is that most of the time, he doesn't seem bothered by his sickness. He giggles and goofs off at the doctor's office. Even during his breathing treatments, we was smiling under the mask at the RN. We love this little guy and are so grateful that nothing more serious has happened. He is such a sweet blessing in our lives.

i cannot imagine going through what you were going through! and to believe that you came back to church you sure are a trooper and will get blessings from being one!
We just found out that kathryn has RSV. She's doing much better on her breathing treatments and antibiotics.
Poor little guy. Good thing he's so tough. My girls would crash with that much trauma. Glad to hear he's back on the growth charts!! :o)
