Oh the excitement that filled our home when we received Flat Ellis in the mail. She came to visit all the way from Chicago. She was a great house guest. Very nice manners and didn't mind sleeping in my camera bag. The kids loved showing their friend their island of Grenada.
First, we showed her our home. She loved the balcony the best.
Harper made sure to give her a lot of hugs and kisses.
Then we took her to Grand Anse Beach. She couldn't believe how blue the water was.

So he buried her in the sand
Then the basket guy came by to see Ellis. He didn't know what to think of her but she made him smile.
Then Ellis decided to climb the tree on the beach. Luke made sure she didn't fall.
After a little sun bathing, she decided to take a dip in the ocean.
Then some wave chasing before heading home.
Thanks for coming to visit Flat Ellis! We are sending you home with a treat from Grenada. We hope you come and visit us in NYC too!!!

Yay! So glad she had a good time! Ellis' favorite picture is of Flat Ellis buried in the sand :).
If you haven't mailed her yet, PLEASE DON'T MAIL HER TO CHICAGO! We are moving to Boise on Friday. I emailed you our new address. If not, she should get forwarded....
We will definitely send her to visit in NYC!
