We finally received the party supplies for Luke's birthday party. It was a month late and I think he was a little confused, but I figured we might as well go for it and have some fun.
The theme was Camp Luke. I made a tent fort in the front room, stringed lights across the ceiling to look like stars and borrowed a Christmas tree to make it feel more like a forest. It sounds a lot more magical than it actually turned out, but Luke liked it so I guess mission accomplished. We had roasted hot dogs for dinner, made raccoon hats and paper plate camping scenes, went on a bug hunt out side with flash lights to look for glow-in-the-dark bugs and then devoured a dirt cake with worms.
