We Like Parks

As the weather is warming up, we are spending a lot of time at different parks near our house. I have been to seven parks that are walking distance from our house. One thing about play grounds here is that they must not have as strict of safety standards as in the US, because they are way more fun. They have things that spin dangerously fast, slides that send you flying and various other super cool, some-what dangerous attractions. I would have loved these as a kid. Here are a few pictures from some of our park outings.
The Harpster swinging high
Luke playing king of the mountain
Going for a spin
Climbing the spider web
Playing pirates with Krew

Splashing in puddles with Jason

We were just discussing this with Jayson's family tonight, how different parks are now than they were when we were kids. No merry-go-rounds or crazy slides. The playground at my school used to have a roller slide, I wonder if they have those anymore! Things are changing fast!

On a different note, your kids are adorable! I can imagine how big Luke gets just because he and Korbin are very close in age but sweet Harper, she's getting so big!

Glad it's warming up for you and you can start to enjoy being outside more. It's been a mild winter but the cold has lasted longer than usual here. I'm sure it'll be super hot before we know it.

My cousins live in Zurich and they say the same thing about the playgrounds there. How fun. I wish the US parks still had those super fast spinning merry-go-round type things (you know what I'm talking about?). I guess too many law suits happen here. It's so green and pretty there. Have fun outdoors. I'm still waiting for the snow to melt.

I kinda just want to squeeze your kids!!! Harper is so huggable and Luke is looking like such a big boy. Give them snuggles from their auntie Melissa and some slightly torturous squeezes from their cousins.
