Along with the big 50th Bash, we enjoyed many outdoor activities in Glenwood Springs.
Rob, Luke and I went biking through Glenwood Canyon. The scenery was beautiful all throughout the canyon.
Luke spent a lot of time convincing family to help him find dandelions. It was so fun to see Aunt Whitney who we have not seen in awhile since she lives in Omaha.
We also took many walks through the woods and down to the river. This one was with Aunt Kaite and Uncle Erik.
My grandparents organized a horseback riding trip and BBQ. We got rained out of the horseback riding, but the food was delicious at the BBQ.
A fun afternoon at Two Rivers Park.
Watching the World Cup back at the hotel. Luke said he could definietly get used to vacation life. Most nights he didn't go to sleep past ten and a few nights he ended up in our king sized bed with us. He was reasonably pleasant for not sleeping very much.
The drive home took about 11 hours. Yes, I used any tactic to keep Luke happy, including passing back a bag of Cheetos.
It was a great trip and we had so many memorable family experiences. I am grateful to have such a kind, fun extended family.
