Luke is growing up so fast. As much as it makes me sad to think he is getting older, it is so fun to see him learn new things. He is getting pretty good at holding his head up and loves standing up on our laps. He smiles and even laughs occasionally, which has to be the sweetest thing in the world. Luke's favorite band is Coldplay. He always calms down when we turn on their CD Viva la Vida. He has taken on the nicknames of Little Man, Luke the Duke and Buddy Magoo (I don't really know where that one came from). I love staying home with him and cannot believe how much having a child has expanded my capacity for love.

Luke is so cute, and those pictures are just precious! We had such a good time yesterday seeing him in person. It is bittersweet seeing babies get older. I still can't believe how fast they grow up. I told my mom I didn't know how much she loved me until I became a mom myself. She said she felt the same thing when she became a grandma. That's the great thing about love. You can always have more.
